Default Shocks

I have a 2001 a4 2.8 quattro, I have the standard shocks on right now but, will soon be putting on the sport shocks and spring on from a 2002 s4. Will this change my camber or alingnment? Is there anything else that I will have to change when I do this?

no that will not work the s4 is heavier so it wont work you will be riding higher i would go with this http://www.stratmosphere.com/vmaxx.htm
or with a bilstein combo with h&r sport spring

Can I use my stock springs with the sport shocks, I don't want to go higher, I want lower. I thought the sport shocks sat lower.

you need the 01 sport shocks not the s4 sport shocks you can try but i recommend the sport shocks off the 2.8

S4 sport shocks with S4 springs will lower you about one finger. I ran that setup most of the year. Essentially it's the same height you are now. Massive improvement in ride quality and handling though. Your A4 springs will work fine on the S4 struts but the S4 springs are a much better match for them.

Can I run the s4 sport shocks with lowering spring and get both the lowering and improvement in ride and handling? Is there enough travel in these shocks for lowering?

You'd be fine using drop springs on them. Andrew, using S4 gear on a 1.8T will lift it up but the 2.8 is close enough in weight to the 2.7T that it won't lift up.
