make sure you have them define what rebuilt engine means. i myself don't like buying a car that is that modded though.

you can get him lower than $5000, I bought my 2.8 with excellent maint. history and overall very clean.....if he wants to unload his car tell him it's not a 1.8 and you want it for $4000

I bought my 1.8 for 4k and now I think I should've gone lower. 185k =(

I'm with Hiwords, I tend to stay away from modded cars. I'll do it myself and know its done right. And you also know if he mods it, he drives it hard.

BUT, thats a good lookin car, with a good base for good power.

(BTW, whats up with the gas gauge? Has the car been just sitting? Thats a flag for me.)

Nothing wrong with the gas gauge, the car had the key turned then put back into the off position which just makes the interior lights and radio work. Notice the car battery voltage is also nill.

car looks nice color and every thing but along with the others try and get the best price you can cause those mods can lead to other problem you'll need to fix later

I'm with hiword... what exactly does he mean by "rebuilt." I didn't notice anything about the TB being changed. Of course, a true rebuild would include the TB, but if he knew how important that is, and any serious, knowledgable buyer would look for that, he should have listed it.

Also, another flag, looks like he swapped out the DV for a BOV...

I have to admit, it does look like a nice car, but 5K for a 98? Sounds a little high...
