Default Should i Buy it???

I'm thinking about buying a 99.5 Audi a4 1.8t quattro, as a way to make some side money

I already talked to the owner and she say's it needs a new/rebuilt turbo and probably a tune up, It has 180k miles on it, and obviously it needs some body work. $800 it blue books at $4200.
I plan on replacing the quarter panel (yes I'm trained in collision repair) and putting a used turbo on it, and selling that ridiculous hood, I'm expecting to put about $600 worth of parts on it and selling it for around $3000
Should i do it?

Yeah i really don't like the hood or the black trunk (she has the origional red one)but i hope it has an aftermarket exhaust that would fit my personal b5 although mines a manual.

Shes asking $800? As long as nothing MAJOR is bad and just turbo and random maintenance items I would be all over that and flip it like you want to.

That things so ugly and riced out though, who would do that to a B5?!

i think you can probably make some profit, but can you really fix it up for only $600? that seems awfully low for what it needs, even if can do the work yourself

I think $600 is on the lower side, I'm finding $200 for a quarter panel cut, $100 for paint materials (i already have clear and primer) and $200 for a used turbo, she has the original trunk lid and the bumper might be savable if not $75. I could be wrong, I'll probably want to throw a new timing belt on it just in case while I'm at it so it could easily get up to $800 in parts.
