Default Sketchy Ad?

I'm sure by now someone is getting annoyed by all of my posts asking people to check out an ad for me, but this is my last one. I emailed the guy and am now waiting for a reply.

DAS98A4, you could always just make one general thread about different cars you come across and would like help with. But really, the best thing you can do is find a seller who has receipts or documentation of work done. If they don't have anything, they're likely hiding something or were not maintaining it well. I would have a professional look at it to make sure you're not buying a car on it's way out

I never really thought about putting it all in one thread... Good thinking.

I emailed the guy and I don't think he speaks English. I asked what engine and drivetrain were and he replied saying 'ok!' So I will continue my search and post any other ads that look promising here.

Should I stay away from salvage and rebuilt titles? The car I have now is a rebuilt and it runs and drives fine, but I know not all cars are the same way.

if you plan on keeping it forever salvage cars can be good deals depending on where and how the were rebuilt but if you plan on sellin git it is not owrth it since the resell price will be extremely low due to salvage title

salvage can be good can be HORRID if it was totaled do to oh say being hit in the rear quarter panel then it's ok but a rear end or front end hit I'd stay away from, a front end hit for sure with how finicky the motors can be.

I found a rebuild that was rear ended. The guy kept the trunk and is willing to show to show me how minimal the damage was.
