Default Slipping 3rd and 4th gear. Tiptronic

It seems to rev then catch when I'm accelerating through 3rd and 4th but when I'm going easy on it, it does not slip. Anybody got any ideas? This is in drive and while using the tiptronic.

its exactly as you described it...your trans is slipping and will most likely need to be rebuilt

Try changing out the fluid, my tranny was slipping BAD through all gears and would even fade out of gear at stops then re-engage seconds later. All I did was change the fluid and it was back to normal (except I got a leak right now, so I'm under there changing fluid about every two weeks or it will slip [:@]). Change the filter too if you know how. Theres a couple DIYs out there for changing filters and fluid. However I would stop driving until you change the fluid because you could be causing irreversible damage, which will equal a rebuild.

Thanks guys will definitely get the transmission fluids and filters checked...I'm thinking the guy that sold me the car has never changed this.
