Angry Small annoying issue, A/C Clutch bolt fell out

I hate to even ask, but I am tired of searching thread after thread on multiple sites. I have a 2001 A4 1.8T manual. AWM engine. The bolt that holds in the A/C outer clutch plate fell out and is somewhere along the highway. By some miracle the outer plate stayed on the lower engine bay cover. My problem is I dont want to spend between $50 and $400 to get a $2 part. I cant find just the bolt for sale individually, everyone wants to sell me an a/c clutch kit or salvage compressor. If anyone has the denso compressor laying around and could check the length of the bolt holding in the outer clutch plate I would greatly appreciate it. From the info I have found so far it looks to be an M6 metric bolt, and it looks like there should be an outer washer there too. The diagrams I have been finding are too terrible to read properly. Id prefer to just be able to go to my local hardware store for a replacement. Thanks in advance!
