Default To small of tune?

So i have a pte turbo 5857, with a tune from atp with 550cc injectors.
I recently upped the boost to 16psi and when the engine wasn't warmed up completely when i would accelerate lightly once i got to about 3500rpms it would get real jerky and then once it hit where full boost is it would smooth out.
And the symptoms would continue even when the engine was warm it would just be less noticeable, so i turned my boost controller down to minimum which is 13 psi and it is way less noticeable but there is a slight jerk still.

It usually will not do it when i floor it and the engine is warmed.
And it runs really lean and you can smell alot of gas.

Do you have any way to log a/f ratio? Running extremely lean, especially in a turbo car is bad news bears. I'm confused about why you're smelling gas though if you were running lean...wonder if maybe you've got more than one issue going on?

Yeah if you're running lean you won't smell fuel.

ok, scratch that. Then i'm running rich.
You can see fumes. No smell of oil or coolant but i do burn some oil.
But i'm replacing the head within the week with a rebuilt one.
The head has 140k
i have a a/f guage also.

Rich is better than lean but not by much lol. What FPR are you running? With that tune and those injectors you shouldn't be running anything more than 3bar

Hahahah, Your right.
im just going to go for a whole new tune.
I think i might go with 034 motorsport, and get a 750cc or 870cc injectors and send my ecu in for a tune.

Would anyone have any suggestions on who could set me up with a good tune for a pte turbo?

034 would be the way to go, they already have another local customer that is running the same size PTE.
