A lil skill goes a long way with a BMW in the snow. I was suprised at how bad the roads were, tons of cars just abandoned in the middle of the streets. It was like zombies had attacked, but less fun lol. I had dtc completely off, and was using the handbrake to make turns and keep my speed up to get thru the deep stuff. Kinda fun but worried bout gettin stuck the whole time.

True enough. I was in my Dad's 330xi the other night (running Conti DWS on 18s--nothing special) and had the pleasure of watching my friend's 2wd Dodge Dakota gracefully spin into a ditch.

Our 318i has ContiProContacts, with a little weight in the back, which is decent, but my car still has the Summer set on--ContiSportContact 3 on staggered E90 wheels. Haven't been driving my car much lately

Ya i am really upset we haven't gotten a lot of snow where I live. We usually have a foot if not a little more sitting on the ground by now.
