Smile So I decided to make a catch can.

I decided that I'm sick of having oil in my intercooler so I made a catch can (with some advice from Mike-2ptzero ). It's stainless steel and took a long time to polish, but it's almost a chrome finish now. I also modified the heat sheild a little and put some real rivots in it (for the look.) And painted the valve cover black, I think it came out very nicely.

looks good man! I think the time you took to polish it was well worth the effort. Sorta makes me wonder what it would look like if you polished that heat shield

The heatsheild is aluminum so it's sorta polished but I couldn't get it as shiny.

I've been thinking about it, but I'm not sure I'm willing to spend the time yet, cause that one costs me time without the car.

Tied into the crank case vent line that runs around the back of the motor.

Most likely talking about the vac lines that are T'd on top of the manifold instead of running under it. You know the ones with the 3 shiny worm clamps in them. He might have thought the Throttle Cable was a vac line too seeing that it runs right next to the T.
