Default Softer suspension options?

Right now I have Eibach pro kit springs and struts. I don't know if it's just me, but it seems like the ride feels stiffer and more harsh since I've had the car. This is also my second set of tires that start to vibrate driving 50+ which all together makes a very unpleasant driving experience. I guess my first question is if I were to put on oem style struts with the pro kit springs, would that make the ride softer or does it all have to do with spring rate? I've even been thinking about putting oem springs on too if that's the only way to make the car feel comfortable.

You will get a more bouncy ride that way. Springs determine ride stiffness, and strut stiffness determines their ability to dampen spring oscillation.

What I don't understand is how adjustable shocks can make a suspension feel hard or soft using the same springs.

I don't know if any of you have been in this car but my father-in-law has an '04 Lexus es330 with electronic dampening control and when you set it all the way to 'comfort', it feels like you are floating on a cloud. Is the stock b5 suspension that soft? I would give up on being lowered if that's the case. I bought the car lowered so I don't even know what a stock suspension is supposed to feel like.

I haven't ridden in a stock B5 since '09, but I do remember it being quite plush, not like a Lexus though.
