Some questions
^That can be true in certain situations, however what TheDevil was saying is that with the stock, very mild tune that you're running, an A/F gauge isn't a necessity. Not all B5's came with wideband O2 sensors, so if your A/F gauge is wired to an older sensor, its literally useless.
On top of that, EGT information can alert you to issues that A/F can't. EGTs will vary with fuel mixture but also with timing advance/retard with relation to boost pressure. An EGT gauge can alert you to issues like that as well as lean-burn conditions, for one example of their comparative strength over a A/F gauge.
Good info to know. it is running a nuespeed ecu. Not sure of the specs yet I'm gonna talk to the shop that installed the turbo and the ecu tomorrow. Il also get a quote on some of the stuff we are discussing
Got some info today. Turns out its running giac. The shop is emailing me the info on the turbo. Installing an innovate wideband tomorrow and am gonna figure out how to mess with the tune. The giac guys said I can get to it with their software and my notebook
