NOTHING holds a candle to the the beru, silverstone non-resistor plug.

Beru Silverstone = $10 each with no proven advantage. NGK = $2.00 each. Candle held. And then melted yours to a puddle.

Where?

E3's are not known to be a great application in 1.8Ts. And they still cost 3X NGK plugs.

Correct me if Im wrong but OP has a 2.8! And if I can find it I will link to the test. Nothing major but lil bit helps! and No not 3X ngk. E3 can be had for $4

Huh... actually I don't think it was mentioned. In that case, I apologize for assuming. But E3 is still a "gimmick" plug.
