Because the info changes so much in the old thread, here is a new one just to make it easy to understand now that everything is straightened out.

Payment should be sent immediately to ensure that you get the GB price, however, Oliver is on vacation until Friday Sept. 26. We can start shipping our ECU's at that time if he has recieved 10+ payements. This will need to be coordinated somewhat though. We can't send him 10 ecu's all at once and expect them to get back to us on the same day as everyone else. Once you've paid, you will be able to send in the ecu at your convenience (After Sept. 26) since it's already paid for. So if you need to wait a week because you need your car, that won't be a problem. ECU's can be sent after Sept. 30th, it's just the payment that needs to be recieved by then to honor the GB price.
Important:
Speedtuning must recieve at least 10 payments before they accept ecu's to work on in order to honor the GB price. So everyone must send their payment BEFORE Sept. 30th. When he recieves at least 10 payments once he gets back, he will give us the go ahead to ship. I could have people send me the money directly, but I thought people would feel more comfortable eliminating the middle man so to speak.

When you are ready to ship the ecu:
Make sure that you put a return address on the package with your name. It's not necessary, but maybe helpful if you also drop in a note that lists your yr/engine/tranny, like you gave me.

Factory ECU's are pretty durable. Just wrap them in bubble wrap and put them in a good sturdy box, and they will be fine.
Overnight shipping before noon via FedEx or UPS should ensure delivery back to you within 3-4 days. $20 should cover overnight shipping and remember that insurance is optional.

just curious... do we NEED to overnight it to them or do you just sayd that so we arent out of a car as long, i have access to another car so if i 3 day it its no big deal

Thanks for the tip! I never would have thought that though.
I'm getting scared now... It's past noon and I've only heard from a few people that they didn't ship their ecu today
I was able to email everyone at 11am ohio time to let them know of the change, I really hope this does not turn out to be disastrous for anyone. I will feel terrible. (about shipping the ecu too early.. everyone will love their new ride once they get the ecu back though )
