I too called Oliver today and he was courteous as well. In any case, I wish that we knew ahead of time that personal checks would have to wait to be cleared. Knowing that, I would have definitely sent in a money order.

I honestly don't remember him mentioning anything to me about waiting for the checks to clear. Either way, it shouldn't take more than a day to clear right?

I hope not, I checked my bank account and the check hasn't been deposited yet and i sent my ecu in monday with overnight delivery.

3-5 business days is the norm for a check to clear from a bank that isn't the same bank as the one that Speed Tuning deposits into. I do understand that Oliver is out to protect his own best interest so it's totally reasonable to wait for personal check's to clear.

Well I guess he just got my check deposited yesterday so i am going to have to wait to next week to get my ecu back.

ya i just gave him a call and he said the same thing. i wish he had told earlier so i could still drive my car for a bit.

I actually talked to him on the phone yesterday before I sent out my ecu and he didn't say anything about payment. Wish he had or I would have waited to next week to send the ecu.

he told me last week that if i sent my payment in, i could just send in the ecu but he was on vacation so i sent it on today. i guess the prices reflects the service a bit

yea i sent it in when he was leaving, i didnt have my car for 9 days, oh man it was painful
