The problem for me is I need a car next tuesday, and I planned on having my ecu back by then. When I called and talked to him on the phone today I asked if I could just pay using paypal or credit card but he said it wasn't allowed on a group buy. So i guess i'm without a car for awhile.

Everyone has known all along that the form of payment that is accepted is a check or money order. Thats been clear since the begining... Did you read the thread? Why would you be without a car? Did you send your ecu without talking to them first to arrange a time for shipment so that you'd get it back in the quickest possible time? I thought you already sent your payment? Why would you plan on getting your ecu back on Tuesday before even speaking with speedtuning to see what their schedual, etc. is?

I did talk to speed tuning. I talked to him yesterday and today. Didn't you read the last few messages on the thread before posting? And I did read the thread before I sent payment however I did not figure in the time that it would take for the check to clear. When I talked to speedtuning yesterday he told me I should have my ecu back on friday or saturday.

Sorry the site wont let me see page 2. I went straight to page 3, sorry. That sucks about the wait, but it will be worth it in the end.

I have a proposal for those of you who want to pay him instantly. Since I'm sure that Oliver faces credit card or paypal acceptance fees when he accepts those forms of payment, usually in the amount of 3-4% of the transaction, you could call him and suggest you add $10 which should more than cover the cost of him accepting your payment via credit card or paypal. Worst he could say is no. You'd also have to figure out how he could either send you a refund if you have already sent him a personal check or he could just rip it up if he hasn't deposited it yet.

When I talked to him today he had already deposited my check. So I think I'm stuck just waiting for it to clear.

Its smooth all the way to 6grand.. i was pleasantly surprised...it feels like a new car...it took away that shitty lag that lingers thru all the gears (imo) but it is very smooth and responsive as f*ck!
