I think I speak for everyone when I say that I wish more people could have taken the trip. I hope this shows that people ARE willing to meet up and that hopefully will have more members show next time!!

I did want to see your car, Chris from D.C., and especially Nick from Mass. Hopefully I'll get to see you guys for the next meet.

Obnox- I actually am getting info from Watkins about doing a more race set up. Once we go tout there they were super awesome and were all about our group. I have a contact who I'm sharing some of our pics with including the break down on the way to watkins! They requested copies of the videos and more, but anyways the main guy is giving me info on a FULL weekend set up where you learn the track on day one and learn to drive it and day 2 is all about hitting the track hard!

No doubt - everyone seemed to have a great time and guys like Don and Austin, who drove 6 and 8+ hours each way felt that it was worth the trip. You guys coming from a distance and testifying the drive being worth it probably would be more of a selling point to the meets than anything else.

 

Don, thanks for the info. I kinda figured that was going to be the deal. I know over at Pocono Speedway, they have it set up just like that. Who knows, since a bunch of us have already met, a day going through safety classes followed by a race day would be epic. Something to shoot for!!!

 

Oh and it's three days later and Bill's garage still reeks of beer. He loves it

 

I'll try and get a track day set up at BeaveRun Motorsports Complex. They're generally pretty laid back about groups just showing up and wanting to race. The more track time the better!!
