Default Springs

Hey guys,

So the rear left spring is broken on my car so I am taking this opportunity to change all 4 corners. I won't be changing the shocks or be switching to coilovers (I'm a poor student). So I am just looking for your advice for which springs to match up with the stock shocks? I am leaning heavily towards the H&R Sport Springs (1.25", 1"). Also I don't want to hear any "moar low" comments, the winters here are nasty and the roads in the springtime are even worse. This is a DD and if I go LOW I will bottom out around here.

So opinions for 1-1.5" drop on stock shocks?

Thanks

I had the H&R sports on my A4 with OE sport shocks, it was a pretty decent set up, never had any issues in the winter time. Not sure how it would be on non sport shocks though.

three year warranty. you should ask them to send pictures of the b5 kit and just do it. or buy used springs because a lot of people get rid of theirs for cheap

So what did you do man? I'm in the exact same situation with broken rear coil spring.
I'm either gonna try the H&R sport springs on stock shocks but I don't want to blow my shocks out right away, so I'm really tempted by that ebay technix coilover set. Did you get it? What did you do man?
