so when i start my car up especially when it is cold and it has been sitting for 4+ hours...i turn my headlights on/fogs and my dashboard lights, radio lights, headlights go dim then light up bright and repeat until my car is warmed up. Takes about two minutes tops to stop the dim-bright sequence. But yeah my car is a 2000 A4 2.8 30v. Any suggestions or advice would help..


but after the car is done doing its little dim-bright nonsense it runs great and no rough idle or issue with light power. Thanks in advance

 

Could be a jacked up wire, perhaps melted. As temperature goes down resistance goes up and vice versa so maybe that's what's going on. Just my initial reaction, but wtf do i know.
