Can someone describe for me where to find the starter on a 99 A4 1.8T? I've looked at pictures but can't seem to find where exactly it is located and how to access it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!

its attached to the transmission. I know on the V6 its in the passenger wheel well. I just took it off today. Im not sure if its the same on the 1.8t but its defiantly where the tranny meets the engine. Start looking there.
