hello, i have a 96 audi quattro v6 12v and the steering rack is dying and leaking all over the place.

I have taken it in to confrim it is in fact the rack and not the power steering hoses, and have been quoted 600+ for a remanufactured rack. this price is a lot and i have researched online to find better prices but i am located in canada so not many places will ship here.

I do not know which rack i have as there is a Koyo and the other appears to be Cardone Steering Rack,

i do not know if it is an all aluminum or a aluminum and steel replacemnt i need.

any help would be appreciated as i am trying to get this part ordered asap so my car will stop leaking.

which rack to order. I bought mine from
