What steering wheels can be interchange with our cars? I recently had to fix my headlight switch and had to rip the air bag off the bracket and well I figured I might as well replace my steering wheel with a better one.

 

what wheel are you running right now? A popular swap is the 3-spoke sport or 3-spoke S4 steering wheels, both are more or less direct fit IIRC.

If you're talking quick-release or racing style wheels with no airbags, I have no idea.

 

Oem is what I'm looking for. I have the ugly four spoke right now. I really like the flat bottoms though and was wondering if its much of a pain to get them to work.

 

To my knowledge none of the flat-bottom steering wheels (TT-S, etc.) are a direct bolt on. Not to mention they're tough to find for a reasonable price. I seem to remember seeing a couple 3 spoke sport wheels in the classifieds either here or the zine, take a look around maybe you'll find one.

Figured id show off the new wheel and say audis4parts is pretty cool and good to work with if you guys need any specific parts look them up and i'm sure they have something for you

 

i was gonna say go with an rs4 wheel with alacantra wrap lol... or however u spell it haha

Nice upgrade man, those 4 spoke steering wheels are gross lookin

 

Yeah. I wouldn't of had to do the upgrade if my headlight hadn't stopped work and one of the bolts holding the airing in hadn't been stripped. I just saw as an excuse to replace it
