Steerling Wheel Shaking when making U-turns
So i have an A4 '98 V6 Quattro. When i make u-turns or tight turns (turning the steering wheel fully to one side and gas (slowly)), my steering wheel would shake and rattle. also feels like i was driving over many small bumps. Any idea what it is? my bf thinks its the CV joints. i read somewhere that it could be axle or something wrong with power steering or the bearings. Anyone had the same problem before? What was wrong? How much to fix it?
Thanks!
Thanks!
I think your boyfriend is right, it's probably the CV joint or the axle.
Replacing the axles could leave you to couple choices: OEM, aftermarket, or rebuilding.
Depending on which route you choose, the price varies.

yeah, i think it is a clicking noise. Is it something I should fix immediately? I've been driving the car with that problem for more than a year now. Not sure if it's worth fixing. How much would a JV joint fix be? Thanks for your help!
