Okay, so I had it scanned today, and it's showing no errors except for a burnt out bulb, apparently.

I'm going to do the leak test tomorrow, and repair any leaks I find.

I'm going to purchase an aftermarket DV tonight, and skip the BS. I did look, and it's most definitely OEM.

After replacing it, and fixing possible leaks, should I reset the computer somehow? Or will it automatically pick it up? Disconnecting the battery for a few minutes will "reboot" the computer, right?

Thanks again for all the replies.

yes, disconnecting the battery for a few minutes will reset the ECU, which should help if you are in limp mode. However, it will also put your radio in safe mode, which you will need the code to unlock... in other words, make sure you have the code first... check the manuals, and stuff to see if someone wrote it down for you.

^ Unless you have an aftermarket stereo that you've either put in yourself recently or came with the car when you bought it. The "safe mode" radio only applies to the stock symphony unit that came with the car new.

Again, valid point. I guess I just assumed from all the "radio locked" or "what my radio code" threads we've had lately.

There've been threads about that? Where the hell have I been? Haha. I can see why you'd assume that then

Default All fixed..

So, no boost leaks! Good start.

Replaced Diverter, reset ECU, took it for a rip, and...

It's boosting 17 lbs? Hidden chip? Previous owner doesn't have a clue, but he was an old man.

Anyways, 17lbs is fun as hell. But, clutch is slipping, so I am going to order a new one this week. I have found a bunch of different ones online, but what is generally recommended? Long term goals are about 350-400 HP...

Thanks again for the advice.

17 psi? Sounds like a Speedtuning chip, or an APR chip with a racing N710 valve...

Quite a difference between 5 and 17psi, huh?

Thanks for the link. I will definitely support guys off this site.

The difference between 4-5lbs and 17lbs is amazing, I am seriously excited to move forward now.

There are a few things that need to be fixed on the car like the suspension, and little things here and there, but I am going to build it up so it fits my needs.

Next step is FMIC, high flow cat, exhaust, and then a turbo upgrade. Should have all of the above done before the end of May. I'll keep everyone informed.
