I have a vent gauge and have no problems using the heat or AC. There's 5 vents up there, losing one for a gauge isn't that big of a deal.

i wouldnt waste the money on the boost controller if youre going to get it chipped soon. i dont think you can have a boost controller and a chip, at least it wasnt recommended in my saab.

the boost controller was like 10$ on ebay so even if i shouldnt use it with a chip, it wasnt a big loss

agreed, I use my driver side vent for my boost gauge and I still get A/C and heat out of it a bit

I'm sure if you used the center vent it wouldn't be any major loss. I can barely feel anything coming out of there when my A/C is running.

Here is what I have for my A/F Gauge:

http://www.purems.com/products/product.php/II=446

It works but it doesn't fit super well... I think I am eventually going to replace it with something else but no one else can notice the fitment issues... just me. lol
