Default Suede trim at last :)

Well, after having the idea seated for several months, courtesy of ImTheDevil, as well as a plethora of incredibly useful tips from him on going about the project, I have finally found time to start the wrapping

I chose the blue suede because of my interior color scheme; where I had the dark dash and door panels but light gray leather, black suede didn't blend enough in my opinon, and for ***** n giggles, I tested the look of red and a brown that was similar to the color of the trim but the red was beyond overkill as I had already guessed it would be (like I said, tried it for ***** n giggles). The brown, well, it looked good, but I wanted something that was different from the look that was already there. Also a good thing I didn't go with the brown because I'm pretty sure NickBroderick used the exact brown I was testing for his recent suede work so that just wouldn't have flied ;P So I went with the blue because in my eyes, it blended the dark dash/paneling with the light leather very well, maintaining a clean look while still being different. I personally like the blue a lot and can't wait to get the rest of it done this week; more pics will follow as I get more of it finished.

Devil: If you're reading this, I need your input on doing the front door strips, I was eyeballing the odd shape of those pieces and wasn't sure how to go about making it look good so if you could give me a call within the next couple of days at your convenience and run me through how to cut the suede to fit over those pieces without it looking half assed that'd be awesome

Looks awesome bro - I can't wait to see the finished product! I'm gonna be free tonight actually if you're going to be around and we can catch up. I did see I have a PM from you and I got the email with the pic - I'm sorry I've been out of touch. Lots going on these days (I'll fill you in). But yeah I'll be relaxing finally tonight so give me a call or I'll call you either way. I'll be free about 6:30EST.

Again - looks great and I can't wait to see the rest. Maybe it'll be the kick in the *** that I need to get going and finish my pillars and headliner

Good to see you followed through. I just finished my trim up over this past weekend, I had the door trim (both front and rear) to finish up and it came out looking sharp. I'll post up pics when I get the chance.

Its actually not too hard, just takes some patience to get the suede cut right to go around the corners.

Sorry, I just barely saw this, had a very busy day today, otherwise I would have called. How is your time frame for tomorrow (today I guess, since by my clock its technically Thursday lol)? I can answer my phone pretty much any time I'm at work so whenever you've got a minute should work fine.

And I'm totally a fan of you finishing the pillars and headliner, hopefully this does give you that motivation cuz I want to see that finished product
