Default Sunroof Drain leak or something else?

So we had a heavy rain, I was at work and someone said my car alarm kept going off. I look and theres quite a bit of standing water in my back right trunk, right where the central locking unit is. From what Ive read, if the sunroof drain gets plugged, doesnt the water pile up further up in the car, near where the front passengers feet would go? The sunroof drain is accessible from inside the car right by the central locking pump (much easier to get to to clean them for those who still havent cleaned them, it seems much faster than the writeup). The water didnt seem to be leaking from the end of the drain hose though.. I am going to clean it tomorrow, but is the sunroof drain likely the problem, or something else?

I pulled the rubber grommet for the remote antenna for the central locking unit. This way, the water just drains for now. I might just leave it incase this happens again.
