My sunroof is loose somehow. When I'm traveling 60+ MPH, it flaps in the wind.

When it is in the closed position, I can easily push up on the glass and pop it up about a half inch. I don't know what part(s) are broken or missing, but I'm tired of it not sealing. I got wet tonight on the way home too (it's raining heavily) and that ain't cool either!

Can anyone shed some light on what might be wrong? It pops up in the back...the front is fine.

Can anyone tell me if the pins are in the right position for it being completely closed? Here's a pic.

Thanks for the bump.

Mine DEFINITELY rattles when I go over bumps, but this getting wet when I hit the brakes stuff is getting old.

Is that little pin in the correct position in the track for the roof to be closed? (compared to yours)

Sorry for the poor quality, my camera is a POS. Also, if you want me to take pictures of different parts of the sunroof, lemme know i'll see what i can come up with..

I talked to Rob at A&P and he suggested that maybe the roof has come off the rails. But from the pictures posted by CCA4, I think I'm missing the part in red and maybe even the part in blue. I'll go look during my lunch break.

Now, what do these parts do?

near as i can tell, thats what holds the sunroof shut. because when you pop it up from the closed position, those thingys move. please excuse my lack of correct terminology lol. its pouring rain at the moment but if it clears up i'll go out and try to get a video of what happens to those parts when you open the sunroof

That would be great. I'm about to go out and run some errands, so I'll look when I get to my car to see if I even have those things. I think the bottom part of the metal piece is there, but the vertical part with the plastic thing on top isn't there, I believe. I'll verify that in a bit.

Thanks again...

After looking, I think my sunroof is totally different from yours. This is a picture of what I was able to get with my iPhone. I had to open the roof into the "vent" position to see anything.

It looks to me like your track inserts are bad, same problem I have.. and it gets worse when its cold out.. Your track looks worse than mine though. The part that i have circled is made of plastic and is supposed to go along that whole metal track where the pin slides through. When that plastic track breaks it creates alot of play so the roof will rattle.
