Just remember, the bigger the turbo, the louder the ppffffshtt... that's the only purpose of a turbo anyway, make cool noises!

 

Well duhh! Or people get a turbo so they can get a cool "Kapoosh" valve.

OP, Please tell me you didn't get a filter with oil on it like I said not to... That would explain why your MAF went to **** right after you put the cone on. The oils get on the MAF sensor and ruin it!

 

lol i have no idea buddy i just bought w.e Auto Zone carrys for after market Air filters its called specter? or somthing like that. but my MAF was shot before the filter cuz nothing changed when i added the cone (sept for noise)

i didnt get any diffrence in performance till i started it up and unplugged the MAF now as long as i do that it runs perfect..

for you guys that were talking to me on my (WTF is going on with my CEL) thread i now know what happend.. due the the Air box being halfway unhooked when i bought the car.. when i took it to the car wash and sprayed off under the hood water got into the box and sucked threw the MAF and i have a feeling thats how the MAF got fucked.

yea i know (way to go dumbass on spraying off under the hood) yea i know lol **** happens.. but atleast now know what the hell is wrong lol.. 60$ for a new MAF eventually ill get one lol. till then ill just start it jump out and unplug the MAF lol..

 

one other thing real quick when i change the oil can i use Castrol GTX high mileage?
