I have a 1996 A4, my suspension is shot and I need to replace it. The only problem is that I am a poor college kid who needs 4 new tires as well. My plan is to replace them my self and save as much money as possible. Can anyone tell me if I need struts, shocks, and/or coil-overs? I am not looking for anything more than a stock replacement.

 

Your suspension is shot? That's not much info. But go for a set of Bilstein HD or sport shocks if you need shocks. $400-500 for all 4.
