suspension packages
Ok, before I got my 01, I test drove and almost bought another 01 that I believe had the Sport package. It had OEM 17" wheels and seemed to sit just a tad lower then most A4s I have seen. I don't believe it was modded, it was all OEM. My car came with 16" wheels. Now, I have a used A4 sport suspension that I would like to put on, but I don't want to go through all that work, only to find out that I put the the same suspension that I took off is the same that I just put back on. Can someone give me some clues to look for? I don't have electronic seats, and my car is a Tip. Thanks.

RE: suspension packages
Wheels are a good start to indicate whether you have the sport package or not. What do yours look like?
According to the specs at this link the 2001 A4 w/ sport package rides on a 16 x 7 - 7 spoke wheel.

RE: suspension packages
These are the standard rims for that year:
7j x 15 8 spoke cast alloy wheel w/ 205/60 15 all season tires (1.8T models)
7j x 16 5 spoke cast light alloy wheel w/ 205/55 16 all season tires (2.8 models)
The 17" rims on that sport you mentioned could have been an factory upgrade or added later by the previous owner.
