Yes it would lower it 1' in the front and a 1/2' on the rear (I think) and yes the ride also is stiffer

 

can i just replace the springs to get the drop or do i have to get the shocks as well?

 

thanks to this post.. when i had my car up on the lift yesteday i found out that i had the red shocks.. sport suspension baby haha.. this way when i get my new wheels i wont have to worry about dropping it at the same time.. it wont look too 4x4 haha.. do have to remove the mud guards though..
