i like the "turbo" badge, just not where you put it. looks too cluttered in that one spot yenno? I'm thinkin either in place of the rings, off to one side level with the rings , or down where your "A4" and "1.8T" badges used to be.

Well, the turbo emblem is gone. I replaced it with a "Tenzo R" sticker. LMAO just kidding. I appreciate the input from all of you. I love these wheels for the car. My friend has the same set just in a silver looking color and they just didn't look as good to me. The black rims...especially at night, really sets it off to me. Hopefully my exhaust tip will be here today. I'm stick of how awful that looks.

Default Lowering springs install

I have someone who wants to charge me $180 to install lowering springs on my V6 quattro. Is this worth it or do I just do it myself? Input pls.

Well I'm all about DIY but if you haven't done it before and don't have an assist from someone who is familiar with spring compressors, then have it done by a shop. They're not the kind of tool to try on your own without someone who knows them - if done wrong, they can let go and kill you. That's a good price - it's gonna take close to an hour per corner.

No joke, those compressors can kill you if it pops off. It's not really hard if you are mechanically inclined. The write-ups are pretty straight forward. Having someone help you is a definite. I like the independence, ya know? What kind of drop n what kind of shock are you using?

Im actually thinking of H&R springs but not replacing the shocks, is that a bad idea? Or Vmaxx coilovers, I heard they're only about $599.

Hiwords is running that spring set with stock struts - zero issues and it rides and handles great. I saw that VMaxx was recently on sale at $549 too (www.stratmosphere.com).
