Default Swapping power seat for manual - Need what?

Finally found a new drivers seat after my heater coil burned mine. It's from another '97 A4. What am I going to need to hook up the new power seat?
Also I've heard 2.8s and 1.8Ts are different - I don't know what car the seat came out of so if they're different what can I do to mount a 2.8 seat in a 1.8T?

they are the same as long as you have a power seat in the car now it should go in and be plug and play if you have non power seats then you will have to modify your car some.

The rear slider mounts are the same but the fronts are not. Manual seats have a central rail and pin system. Power seats have slide rails (two) that bolt through the body. If you fit a manual seat you'll be welding. Fitting a power seat requires grinding and drilling/tapping.
