Default T3 or K04

Alright here it is.
I can either run a k04 or a t3/t4.
i want the boost of a t3/t4, but im afraid it won't be able to be a daily driver.
Where i know the k04 is able to be a daily driver and not tear down my car.
and i want to avoid buying a new clutch....

Id just like some input to help me make my decision.

If you dont want to upgrade your clutch then you dont want to go beyond a K04.

Yeah im pretty sure im just gonna go k04, im not racing or anything of that sort, so more power than that seems unnecessary, Plus tuning for a t3/t4 setup seems like it'd end up costing me more than a whole kit...

Thank you for your input, and not flaming me for asking a dumb question.

I'm still a turbo n00b but just from what i've read in the stickies here, i feel like there's a pretty huge difference between a K04 and a T3 as far as application goes..right?

Well a k04 can be dropped right in without changing a single thing in reality. To maximize the power from one, supporting mods are necessary, but not a whole lot needs changing.
A t3/t04 is going full on big turbo in an A4, and you will need to swap out many parts.

many many parts for a T3/T4. Including upgrading the rods, FMIC, exhaust and the fuel pump. At that point the clutch is the least of his worries.

I agree, except rods arent necessary on certain 50 trim applications.
