Tapping into courtesy light wiring A4 b5
Hey guys
Does anyone know where is the best place I could tap into the wiring for the courtesy light? I want to wire up some interior and maybe exterior lights that turn on/off with the courtesy light.
Thanks

You'd have to tap into that at the dome light and run the wires down the pillar. Check the sticky post for the one with the relay panel breakdown - maybe there's a separate relay for the courtesy lights. Or there may be a separate fuse for them that you could use as a tap-in point.
Hey, this is totally off topic and I don't mean to thread jack, but itd be awesome if you started a new thread about your front end conversion, more pics with different angles, what it entailed that sorta thing. I've never seen just the grille conversion (without headlights and hood) so I'm sure a lot of other people would be interested too!
hi meloman, this is my thread for the grill conversion: A4 b5 grill conversion bodykit
Im from Australia so I'm mainly on the ozaudi forum.
I am planning on getting updated headlights with DRL's however shipping to Australia costs more then the headlights itself which is a joke. Any questions about the grill conversion just ask
thanks imthedevil, il have a look into it

For the extra lights, best to just tap into the dome light and use that as the wire to trigger a relay that is then powered directly from the battery.
BTW I sure hope you not thinking about putting neon lights on the car.
