Yeah, not quite a hatch. A "sportback!"
The perfect combo between saloon intrigue and avant style looks!

I'm quite interested in this HIWORDs debacle as well!
Also... NEW WHEELS COME IN TOMORROW! from 15x7 to 18x8.5!!!
Ok so its not WIDDDEEE wide, but I dont have the low, I dont have the body and I dont have the cash, so they'll do for now.
Pics tomorrow, I think I'll take a note from Hiwords and make you all sweat in anticipation.

I'm gonna try to save as much of mine as I can, though part of it will definitely end up going towards Audi parts. For the spring i'm gonna need new pads, rotors, a coupla control arms and TRE's, also upgrading to stainless brake lines, I wanna get new plugs, wires, and I need a lower door moulding (and the clips that hold it on)

CCA4, you still getting the A8s? Also, the FCP Groton CA kit includes outer TREs so you can kill a few birds with that stone. And we have Bern finding that plugs are good to change but the wires seem to last forever. I'd at least hold off on them rather than buy them automatically. They cost a lot and don't seem to fail.

Jeremy, good lookin out on the plug wire advice. I just sort of assumed that 14 year old plug wires would need to be changed, but if they last and still work well, then hell with it. I'll have to check out that Groton CA kit, I was just planning on buying parts individually from ECS and Blauparts. And I'm still on the look out for A8's, but I wanted to get all the maintenance stuff taken care of first. Seems silly to spend money on wheels or springs or something with junk for brakes and clunking control arms.

They seem to last well. Hiwords bought an FCP front kit on eBay, with outer TREs and all 8 front CAs for $217 shipped. A8s are $250 now for blanks or $299 for slotted or drilled/slotted at ECS.
