Temp. Display - A/C problem

My temperature display reads way off what the outside temp. actually is. Right now it reads -17 Deg F. Therefor the a/c will not come on. I cannot find any info on this problem. Any help would be appreciated!

You hafta replace the sensor thats in the front of your grille (youll see it its right in front and visible from the outside in the lower grille it has a wire running up to it and its perched on a post)
