well i dont know if this is an issue on all cars or not but a few months ago my actual lock poped out with my key, i eventually just gorilla glued it back on but was a very intersting thing, im thinking of just replacing my entire lock set espacially since i my trunk has a seized lock cylinder.

also ive found that when you hit a speed bump going 35mph the casing on the transmission sometimes cracks and causes the whole things to lock up... has anyone else noticed that problem?

Just hit 173,000 miles...

So far beside regular mainatance repairs (brakes, t-belt, etc), I have replaced the front control arms (120,000 mi), the Ignition Control Module (160,000 mi), and two rear bearings (both went bad around 130,000 mi).
Still have a slow tranny leak from the front differential driverside output shaft (where the diff and half-shaft axle meet), but thats getting replaced soon. Believe I have at least one bad front bearing as well.

Not the orginal owner (got it at 80,000 mi) so I don't really know what else has been replaced, but for 170,000 miles its running damn strong.

AC is intermittent, seems to want to work when it wants, might just be a loose belt, but when it works it works WELL! Driver's heated seat doesn't work as well as the passenger's. Tranny is a little harsh, but thats because of its got 170,000 miles on the orginal motor, turbo, and tranny. Really can't believe my turbo still even works...or maybe it doesn't. Oh yeah intermittent-to-broken CC, if I can even get it to engage it will only stay engaged for about 5 minutes before cutting out. Thought my MAF broke at 150,000 mi, my CEL came on and I got a MAF code, but I cleaned it out with some MAF cleaner and CEL went away, probably just the oil from the K&N.

Currently, NO CEL or codes at 170,000!

Comestically nothing is wrong except for those stupid clipped on side trim. Its still on but bulges in areas where the clips no longer hold. The Pearl paint still looks as great as the day I bought it.
