Default thinking about flipping my 710n DV

Read pretty mixed responses about flipping the DV for sound, but mostly good things if its a 710n DV? I got a 99.5 1.8t manual. To flip or not to flip? THANks for any info!

You want to keep it the way it comes stock. This way takes less pressure to hold the valve closed and you cant adjust the 710n

oh yes? So even though it would sound a lot cooler it would hurt the performance?

"because alot of people have actually ran tests on them and in some situations the diverter valve will work better backwards, in mors cases its the 710n that is better backwards than forwards but they will work just fine either way "

Found this quote in another thread https://www.audiforums.com/m_349851/tm.htm

it'll work either way. the way it is positioned stock, is best for the diaphragm's life. but switching it could make the noise different or might affect psi
