mine is a 96 so my fogs are in the headlight housings... so having multiple HID in the same area = not a smart idea haha

if and i were you i would have saved the money from getting HIDs and put it toward ecodes or something with a projector housing....

its kinda like putting on a BAT without upgrading internals yet - you did it inthe wrong order!

i know for a fact that that is illegal here, idk about cali

and 8000k? did you click the wrong button or did you want to have less output than you could? i hope you ATLEAST got the 55w kit then, cause that should bump it down to like 6500k (something you will be able to live with)

The 55w kit without a projector housing will REALLY blind people.

I would hate for you to be behind me, or to be coming towards me on a 2-way road.

I installed a set of aftermarket HID in my 1999 A4 (with projectors) and I was not impressed at all. I mean they were alright but not as good as I expected. The HID's in my sister's Prius are much brighter. I believe the problem is the head light housing. My A6 has OEM hid's which project much better and illuminate the road far more clearly. The housing is designed for HID's which is why I think they works so much better but i could be wrong.

I would have to agree with this. OEM Xenons housings were designed to be for Xenons/HID's.
