To those who have used Lamin-x fog covers...
I just got the yellow fog covers from ECS made by Lamin-x. I was keen to get started right away, but noticed some trouble. For those of you who have these, is this normal?

There seems to be a good amount of the lens that is not covered by the film. I double checked the part # from ECS and Lamin-x and it seems to be right. If it is right, talk about crappy fitment.

I bought a spool of yellow tint from ebay for $9.99 - 12"x48" roll. I did my audi fog lights about 2 months ago, and i did my pathfinder like 2 weeks ago. Its holding up fine, and looks great. I never used lamin-x though.

They must really be trying to save on film. Even with the black cover, it looks like it will barely cover enough. I should have done what you did 01quattro and just bought a roll. Live and learn.
I had that LUMIN-X film on my A4 & S4, the reason it doesn't cover the entire lense is to help dissipate the heat from the fog lights. when I ordered mine I thought the same thing when they arrived and immediately contacted the company and sent them photos. They said it's right and you won't notice the non-covered spots when the fogs are on. I installed mine with the fog lights on the car and just centered the yellow film
