Hey people,

I am after a throttle body for engine code AJL. Everyone says AEB and AJL are essentially the same other than a few minors so I need clarification will an AEB throttle body work on AJL.

it should work, but do yourself a favor and look for a used one. if you cant find one in australia, try vwvortex.com classified section. theres no shame in getting a used one for a 1/6th the price

 

George, if you need a throttle body just let me know. I can go grab one from the junkyard for $40 + a little on top.

 

Make sure you put the same type back in, meaning make sure that you either have a Drive-by-wire or Drive-by-cable throttle body.

The link you posted takes us to ECS where they show you a Drive-by-cable throttle body.

If your Audi's throttle body is actuated with a cable, then your spot on. If not, find the correct one.

Sometimes you can get lucky at a junk yard.

 

Car is drive by cable, I don't mind a used one, Basedrifter can see how much it would cost me for a used one as well as shipping it over here to Australia, Sydney + some extra as a thanks. This would be great.
