found an old lady on craigslist who had a short commute to work and decided to sell it. excellent condition but had some oil leaking. doing a timing belt job in conjunction with seal and gasket replacements to save money.

Shop around, bro...My mechanic is actually a Honda Master Mechanic, but he has a plethora of automotive knowledge and can answer any question I throw at him and work on anything on my car. Point being, you never know until you look around.

Old lady cars = run AutoRX immediately because they've probably never had the oil changed. Also, flush your coolant (though most people don't even know they need to replace coolant at all)

If it has the Audi coolant in it, it's lifetime coolant and only needs to be changed at timing belt replacements. For that matter could be reused even at that point

actually i was surprised. she had a complete maintenance booklet filled out up to 56k miles. so she took excellent care of it. my mechanic did a 60k service check about 4 days ago and said that it was in good condition other than the gasket oil leaks. no big deal though.
