What did you guys use as a sealant or a clear coat after you sprayed them with the tinting spray?

 

you can use a duplicolor high-gloss clear or something similar

 

i didn't seal them with anything yet. i've been experimenting with the tint and designs so no need to seal for now.

 

I didn't seal mine (didn't on other cars either) and had no ill effects.

 

what tinting spray did you use?

 

I used Nite Shades before, but when I did my Audi, they didn't have it. I got some other brand (I think it's made by VHT though - same bunch that makes Nite Shades). Hiwords has the can of it - he can tell you for sure.

 

I used thevhtnite shades. I wound up using the duplicolor clear coat spray that I found at autozone. I'lllet you guys knowwhen I'm finished if it made a difference.

 

well, they are smother and more glossy, thats about it. I think they look better with the clear coat.

if you dont clear over them they will start to fade....i didnt on my sho and they faded in about a year.
