Default tips on air bag light

last night i pulled my steering wheel and column apart to clean the combi switch and once i had it back together the air bag light still stays on.

i dont know if there is a reset or not some where or if it goes away after a bit. Or if ill need to pull the column back apart and look for a unconected wire butim fairly ssure there isnt as i only disconnected the 3 for the air bag itself and the 1 for the air bag to the rotating hub whatchamacallit.

your probly going to need to check for fault codes then clear them with vag-com or at a local autozone...

yeah i pulled my wheel off to replace the ignition and the airbag light stayed on. you have to take it to the dealer to get it turned off.

You dont have to go to the dealer, but know someone with a VAG-com.
i dont think Autozone can clear the airbag light, maybe somebody can confirm that for sure.
