Cincy, give me some of your feedback! Is a J31 profile too aggressive for the stock tip? I found one hell of a deal; J31 flashed GIAC ecu, injectors, and FPR for $600, but I want to make sure it's all good.

and i 3071 on a tip trans works just fine
um...NO

one of the kids who comes to our shop my brother did his 3071r on his tip trans and its been holding up just fine

really? so the tip tranny's dont have problems with high HP, just torque?

how long has he had it on?

71r elim
2 totally differnt animals. I see bad things with that 50shot.
yeah i forgot to say 2871r elim...yeah i see bad things happening too but thats what a warrenty to replace the engine is for when you dad works at the dealer

Perhaps I should go with the 2871r, as a fellow tip user is having a nice time with it?

why would it slaughter you? there are 3 or 4 guys on AZ with GTRS on their tip's, each has had it on for a while, and none are having a problem with it

three months and its running strong
At what psi? You could run a gt35r on a tip if you wanted to with the right amount of boost.

A .48 50trim would spool good and be safe on both the rods and tranny

+$100 for that gt2871r. Seems like a good deal, but I'll probably need some more necessities.

With everything added up, would the rennart turbo kit be a better deal?

A gt2871r would kill the tranny since it still has tons of low end tq. It actually takes the rods to the edge of the safty zone.
