Default Tire Rubbing Question

I did search first, and didn't find anything of real help, so I thought I would ask. I just bought some 17" Enkei J10 wheels with Kumho ASX tires, and my car has Neuspeed Race Springs and Bilstein Sport Shocks installed on it. I don't really expect these to rub since they're only 17s, but I though I would get some more opinions.

If any more info is needed, just ask and I'll find it.

They're not intalled yet - I just got them ordered today. I was just wondering if anyone had an issues with that size of wheel and suspension setup.

Hmmm...I'll have to look into that. I'll go ahead and have them put on at the shop, and if they're rubbing I can just throw the stockers back on for a while.

They should be in by mid-week...

Tire rub isn't so much a factor of wheel diameter (unless you're trying to ball with 24s on your car) as offset. Long as you ordered the correct offset, you should be fine.

they prolly will not rub...

go very slow over speed bumps/dips...if you go to fast, you'll end up rolling your fenders...lol

definately look into roolin your fenders, it's pretty straight forward with a heatgun and the roller tool...

can't wait to see pics of the new wheels!

there's a guy on here and audizine who has neuspeed race/bilstein and he's running 19x8.5" wheels and he isn't rubbing at all

here's his zine post http://www.audizine.com/forum/showpo...&postcount=325

sounds like you'll be fine

this thread is worthless without pics!
