Today UPS is my hero:)
hey i have a lip spoiler to sell. the only thing is...its a little short for an a4, i ordered it off ebay under the title audi a4 lip 96-02 or w/e and its short.[:@]. if you buy one online make sure its 45" not 43" like mine is. but if you still wanna buy it for your car or another id sell it to you n.p. i need the money to buy the right sized one haha.
I got everything from www.ecstuning.com. The lowers are around $36 for the front door and $28 for the rear, if I remember right. You need to buy a new set screw for each as well (they are sold separately for 95 cents each). The brakes are the A8 upgrade. If you buy blank rotors (no slotting or drilling) the kit (which consists of the two rotors and the two caliper carriers) is $265 plus shipping. Stepping up to get Powerslot rotors instead of OEM A8 blanks, with either slotting or slotting and cross-drilling, brings it up to $350 plus shipping. I got all that stuff, plus a pair of valve cover gaskets ($50 for the pair) and the Hawk pads (~$95 for the fronts).
Go to ECS Tuning's website listed here and after you select your car, go to the brakes area. It's most of the way down the page. I went with the Hawk street ceramic compound pads because I've had great luck in the past with ceramic street pads from Axxis on my Z. Stronger initial bite, longer life (although the slotting/drilling of the rotors may take that down a little), and about a tenth of the brake dust. Do NOT get track-only compound pads - they're very hard on the rotors and aren't ideal in any way for the street. Tell the sales rep how you typically drive the car and he'll tell you what to get. For me, I only street drive - no track time - and I wanted something that would do what I listed above as the benefit of these pads. For 99% of us here, they'd be the right pad to buy.

Remember that to fit the A8 rotors, you need the caliper carriers from the TT (it's sold as a kit). The A8 rotors are 12.3" instead of the OEM A4 rotors' 11.3" size. The TT carriers bolt up to the A4 hubs, and provide the necessary clearance to move the calipers out an extra half-inch to clear the extra radius of the A8 rotors. It's really not much more expensive than getting OEM sized replacements, which to me makes the upgrade a no-brainer. But you want to buy the kit. Don't just buy A8 rotors from somewhere - they won't fit without the TT carriers.
Nice upgrade. Take a close up pic with the wheel on when you're done. I might go that route when I the time comes for new brakes. Maybe by then I could possibly find some boxster calipers too.
haha i'm gonna piece together my own BBK. gonna see if i can get used carriers for cheap. o ya, are you gonna do you brake fluid too? i think you should lol. bro, can you put up the part number for the calipers if you have one?
I did a complete flush and refill of the fluid this past spring when I changed my rear calipers so I'm going to leave it for now - it looks good and is less than a year old. I'll look at the carriers tonight and see if there's a stamped part number on them. You may have trouble beating that price unless you can find a TT at a salvage yard though. Hope you can!
Trey25, I will take pics when they're installed and post them up.
