Default Totaled :(

Totaled the A4....sigh at least im pretty positive my insurance company will total it haha. On the off chance that It is totaled I kinda think its a good thing, FWD Audi FTL. Im thinking of getting an S4 for the next one, I probably should put this in the S4 section but does anyone have any insight on the s4? is it pretty comparable maintenance wise?

Not even remotely close to an A4, in terms of maintenence - most jobs you can do easily on an A4, require an engine pull in an S4 - turbos, manifolds, gaskets etc.

A different car to drive - it's superior to an A4 in every way, bar gas mileage.

From what I've heard, it's twice as expensive for upkeep... But the beastliness of a well tuned 2.7 bi-turbo seems excelerating. If you can afford the maintenance and such, why not? If you're just going to have a sexy car sitting in the garage waiting for you to be able to afford fixing it, probably not such a good idea.

Whatever you do, quattro FTW!

Yea, i think we need to know how you totaled your A4 - maybe more power is NOT what you need.

umm unless it was a monsoon then awd shouldnt effect it that much, the fact that u werent paying attention and u were obvioulsy driving too fast and too close to your friend for the weather condition says that u should prolly but a slower car.. maybe a 12v a4 instead
