Hi People.I have a 1997 a4 quattro non turbo. I am trying to decide whether the trans is slipping or that it just cannot make up its mind what gear it wants to be in. It seems to change into top gear a bit early and then it seems to "hunt" or change up and down between 4th and 5th without any movement of the accelorator on a flat road. Is there some kind of sensor system that checks throttle position, revs and load to manage the gear that is required. It just cant seem to make up its mind.
